    3D Displays Become Reality

Support for 3D displays is becoming reality, although the cost is still expensive. Companies like Santa Monica-based DDD group are helping to mature the industry by providing the software and hardware to translate 2-D images onto 3-D capable displays. 3D displays emit light at slightly different angles, making it possible for a viewer's eyes to see slightly different images and providing a 3D effect.
