    3Tera, Emergent Game In Grid Computing Deal


    Aliso Viejo-based 3Tera and Calabasas-based Emergent Game Technologies said today that the two companies have partnered on grid computing for the game industry. 3Tera is a developer of grid computing products; Emergent Game Technologies develops software tools for massively multiplayer game developers. The two said they would explore the integration of 3Tera's grid computing technologies with Emergent's gaming platform; further details of the collaboration were not disclosed. Emergent Game Technologies is venture funded by Adena Ventures, Cisco Corp., Copan Ventures, Jerusalem Venture Partners, Walker Ventures, and Worldview Technology Partners.
