8e6, CDW Target K-12 With Filtering Products
Orange, California-based 8e6 Technologies, a developer of Internet filtering appliances, said today that it has partnered with CDW Government, CDW's sales arm focused on the government and educators. CDW will carry the firm's Internet filtering and security software. CDW, which is a provider of electronics and software to a variety of markets, will offer 8e6's products as part of a number of K-12 cyber security packages, the firm said. 8e6's products are used to control access to the Internet, and for monitoring Internet access.
