AEi Systems Wins PerkinElmer GPS III Contract

Los Angeles-based AEi Systems, a provider of electrical circuit modeling, worst case, failure, and reliability analysis; and power systems analysis and design, said today that it has completed an analysis of PerkinElmer's Rubidium Atomic Frequency Standard (RAFS) a critical portion of the GPS III satellite program for the U.S. Air Force. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. AEi Systems is backed by Tech Coast Angels member and Dauntless Founders Fund manager, Lee Weinberg. The firm said it provided electrical stress & derating, reliability, failure mode, and worst case circuit analyses for PerkinElmer as part of the GPS III satellite program for the U.S. Air Force. The program will provide more advanced satellites for the global positioning system (GPS), which currently serves 750 million users globally.
