Amgen Loses CFO

Thousand Oaks-based biotech giant Amgen said late Thursday that its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Jonathan M. Peacock, is leaving the company. According to Amgen, Peacock is leaving to pursue "broader career opportunities". Although Peacock is stepping down as of today, Amgen said he will remain employed by the company until May to assist in a transition. Michael A. Kelly, who has served as Chief Accounting Officer and other financial roles for Amgen, will step in as acting CFO.
