Amgen Names Former Walmart CFO As New Board Member

Thousand Oaks-based Amgen announced last week that it has appointed Charles M. Holley Jr. to its board of directors. Holly said the appointment brings its board size to 15 directors, 14 of whom are independent. Holley is the former Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Wal-Mart Stores, where he had been since 1994.
