Baroda Ventures, Ashton Kutcher Back Fab.com

Los Angeles-based Baroda Ventures, the venture capital investment firm of GeoCities founder David Bohnett, has re-upped its investment in fashion site Fab.com. Fab.com said it raised $8M in a Series A funding round Tuesday. Baroda was also joined by actor Ashton Kutcher, as well as Menlo Ventures, First Round Capital, The Washington Post Company, SoftTech VC, SV Angel, Guy Oseary and A-Grade Investments, Zelkova Ventures as well as angels Kevin Rose, Jon Anderson, Don Baer, Josh Kushner, Dave Morgan, Ben Ling, and David Tisch. Fab was previously Fabulis, a gay social networking site; the firm has since refocused into a daily deals and flash sales site. Fab.com said the funding will go towards scaling its business.
