BoingBoing Launches Video Site

Blog site Boing Boing, Federated Media Publishing, and DECA said today that Boing Boing is launching Boing Boing TV, a new daily video site which will feature short three-to-five minute long snippets along the lines of the popular Boing Boing blog web site. Boing Boing TV is partnering with DECA, the newly funded digital entertainment studio located in Santa Monica, in the venture. DECA recently raised $5M in funding from Mayfield, General Catalyst, and Atomico Investments. The new Boing Boing TV site will be funded by three month sponsorships being handled by Federated Media, the online advertising agency headed by John Battelle.
