BridgeCo Raises $23M

Los Angeles-based BridgeCo has raised a Series D funding, bringing in a total of $23M from Advent Venture Partners and Wellington Partners, along with existing investors. The firm is developing digital home networking silicon used for connecting consumer electronics and computers. The firm recently moved its headquarters to Los Angeles, saying that its new El Segundo headquarters will include its executive staff and sales and marketing, with it existing team in Zurich, Switzerland focused on engineering and development. The firm said its new Southern California location will allow it to more easily communicate with strategic partners and customers in the entertainment and technology industries. Other investors in the company include Benchmark Capital, Cipio Partners (formerly Infineon Ventures), Earlybird Venture Capital, Fidelity Ventures and Intel Capital. More information »
