CODA Energy In Bay Area Install

Monrovia-based CODA Energy, the battery developing spinout from CODA Automotive, said this morning that it has scored an energy storage win in the San Francisco Bay Area. CODA Energy said it has tied with Energy Vault and Growing Energy Labs (GELI) on the deployment of an energy storage project, for a solar integrated electric vehicle fast charging station in the Bay Area. CODA Energy said the system will use a 40kWh energy storage system. Financial details of the win were not announced. CODA is developing battery technology for use both in electric cars (EVs) and in energy storage applications. CODA's battery system is being tied into a 175 kW solar array by the companies.
