Callfire Ties With Democratic Campaign Provider

Callfire, the developer of telephony services and APIs, reported today that it has tied with a provider technology services for Democratic candidates. CallFire said it was designated the preferred provider of cloud broadcast voice and hosted IVR telephony services by NGP VAN, which the company says is used by "virtually every" Democratic candidate and progressive organization conducting a field campaign. Financial details of the link were not disclosed. Callfire said that NGP VAN is powering campaigns for President Obama's reelection. Callfire is led by Dinesh Ravishanker, and provides enterprise, telephony APIs and services to help developers create interactive voice response, text messaging, voice broadcast, and other telephony applications.
