CarsDirect Refreshes Website

In the latest makeover of one of the original, Web-based automotive sites, Los Angeles-based CarsDirect has updated its website. The firm said it has launched a "completely redesigned website" after months of research and testing. The site includes better navigation features, more research and in-depth specifications and reviews, articles, breaking automotive news, and more. The site follows competitor Edmunds.com, which also recently went through a major overhaul of its site design in September. CarsDirect is owned by Internet Brands, which recently went private in an acquisition by Hellman & Friedman.
