Citrix Acquires Paglo Labs, Launches IT Management Tool

Santa Barbara-based Citrix Online, the firm behind the popular GoToMeeting software, said today that it has acquired Paglo Labs, a developer of IT search and management tools, and launched its own IT management platform called GoToManage. Financial terms of the acquisition, which occurred earlier this year, was not disclosed. Citrix said that GoToManage is a web-based platform for monitoring, controlling, and supporting IT infrastructure, and will be targeted at small and mid-sized businesses. Paglo co-founder and CEO Brian de Haaff is now Senior Product Director, IT Services for Citrix Online, and the firm has hired on Paglo's executives and staff.
