D3Publisher Inks Deal with Aardman

Los Angeles-based software publisher D3Publisher said this morning that the firm has inked a deal with Aardman Animation to bring Shaun the Sheep to the Nintendo DS. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Aardman is the company behind Wallace and Gromit and Chicken run; Shaun the Sheep is a character from Wallace and Gromit's A Close Shave, and now is its own show on the Disney Channel. According to the firms, D3Publisher will ship the Shaun the Sheep title to retail stores in North America and Europe this fall. The game is being developed by Art Co., Ltd.
