Digitaria Hires VP

Online marketing firm Digitaria reported earlier this week that it has hired Sunil Bhagwan as vice president of search. The San Diego-based company described Bhagwan as a veteran of the Web marketing industry with nearly a decade of leadership experience. Most recently, Digitaria noted, he was senior director of business development at interactive marketing firm Business Online. Before that, Digitaria added, he worked for WebSideStory (now Web analytics firm Omniture) and computer chip maker Intel. Founded in 1997, Digitaria also maintains offices in Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and New York.
