DocStoc Buys BestVendor

Santa Monica-based DocStoc, the online small business information and document site headed by Jason Nazar, has acquired a New York company called BestVendor, the two announced today. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. BestVendor provides a tool to help small businesses help find software services, providing recommendations on the best software tools for their company. BestVendor said thecurrent functionality of the BestVendor site will not be affected by the acquisition. BestVendor had been based in New York.
