EDF Ventures Opens San Diego Office

EDF Ventures, a early-stage venture capital firm focused on healthcare and information technology, said this week that it has opened up a new office in San Diego. The firm said that it is opening the office because there's a need in Southern California for hands-on investors willing to get involved very early in the development cycle. Ann Arbor, Michigan-based EDF is looking to invest from several hundred thousand dollars up to $2M in first series investments. The office will be managed by General Partner Beau Laskey.
