EdgeCast Links With Flash Media Provider

Los Angeles-based content delivery network (CDN) provider EdgeCast Networks said today that it has linked with Influxis, a provider of Flash Media application hosting. The two said that EdgeCast will offer the Influxis Adobe Flash Application Hosting service to Edgecast customers, and that Influexis will offer Edgecast's CDN services to its own customer base. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Edgecast Networks is a provider of content delivery network (CDN) services, which are used by web sites to accelerate access to their web sites and rich media.
