Emulex Expands In China

Costa Mesa-based storage area networking hardware developer Emulex is in an expansion in China, the firm said this morning, and has established a new company called Emulex (Beijing) Networking Technology Co. Ltd.. Emulex said the new subsidiary has opened up a new office in Beijing, China. Emulex said it is working with such companies as Huawei, Inspur, Lenovo, PowerLeader, Sugon and Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment (ZTE) in the Chinese market, and plans to double its investment in the region over the next five years. The new subsidiary also has an office in Shanghai.
