Epicor Loses CFO, Shuffles Execs

Irvine-based enterprise software developer Epicor Software said today that it has lost its EVP and CFO, Michael Piraino. According to Epicor, Piraino has resigned, effective immediately, and the firm has initiated a search for a permanent Chief Financial Officer. No reason for the resignation was given. In a related move, Epicor said that Russell Clark, the firm's VP Finance and Corporate Controller, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Finance. Separately, the firm said that Lauri Klaus has been named the firm's Executive Vice President, Worldwide Consulting; Klaus has been at the firm since 1991. Epicor is a developer of enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), and other enterprise software.
