Fisker Auto: Karma Getting 112MPG In Tests

Anaheim-based Fisker Automotive reported this week that it has completed extended range testing and certification, finding that the firm's Karma is achieving 112 mpg combined fuel economy. Fisker said the independent testing was by Technischer Ueberwachungs Verein (TUV), Europe's recognized automotive certification agency. Fisker also said the group validated the Karma's all electric range at 51.6 miles. The Karma can operate fully on all-electric for 51.6 miles, or can run in hybrid mode using a gas engine to recharge its batteries.
