Flinja Launches At DEMO

Flinja, the startup developing an online marketplace for freelance college students and alumni, has launched to the wider world, after graduating from the StartEngine startup accelerator in Los Angeles. The firm showed off its service at the DEMO conference today, saying that its service is now available at both USC and UCLA, and will soon launch at Stanford. Flinja was co-founded by Victor Young, Rebecca Bahr, and Calvin Shen, and was part of the Summer 2012 class from Howard Marks' StartEngine effort. Flinja's site lets college students and alumni with .edu emails sign up, and get a chance to post services they'd like to provide; alumni of those colleges can then contact those students to book their services.
