Fulham Lights Up With $10M

Hawthorne-based Fulham, a assembler and distributor of electronic ballasts for the lighting market, has scored $10M in a venture investment, according to investor Braemer Energy Ventures. Fulham's products are used for powering fluorescent, high intensity lights (HID), and LED-based lighting. According to Braemer, a representative of the firm will join Fulham's board of directors. Braemer Energy Ventures invests in energy technology, and also has stakes in related lighting firms Laser Light Engines, Nuventix, and Luminus Devices. Braemer said the investment will provide Fulham with a "stronger financial base", and support worldwide sales. More information »
