Gaikai Boosted By Intel

Los Angeles-based Gaikai, the streaming game service run by David Perry, is one of seven software companies which Intel announced it had made investments in today, for a total of $24M invested by the company. Intel said it invested in DynamicOps, a provider of enterprise cloud automation software; Enlighted, a provider of building management software; Guavus, a developer of real-time analytics tools; IP Commerce, a developer of platform-as-a-service software; Swrve New Media, a social games and analytics services provider; Revolution Analytics, a predictive analytics firm, along with Gaikai. Gaikai had earlier announced in July that it raised $30M, including Intel Capital, for its cloud-based, game streaming services. More information »
