Gateway Rolls Out eMachines PCs

Irvine-based Gateway has rolled out a new line of low cost PCs targeted at holiday shoppers through its eMachines brand, saying this morning that it has rolled out three new desktop PCs. The new eMachines desktop PCs range from $349.99 to $519.99, and are based on Windows XP Media Center 2005. The company is rolling out the new holiday line-up to get a jump on the holiday season. The new machines include the T5212, a Intel Pentium D-based machine; the T5048 based on an Intel Pentium 4; and the T3516, based on a Intel Celeron D 352 processor.
