Greenspan Files Another Lawsuit, Claims MySpace Monopoly

Brad Greenspan, former CEO of Los Angeles-based Intermix Media, has filed another lawsuit against News Corp. Greenspan said Thursday that he has filed a lawsuit in the Federal District Court in Los Angeles, claiming that MySpace has violated antitrust laws by blocking websites competitive to the firm. Greenspan claims that MySpace censors users who use or mention the name of products and websites that News Corp deems to be competitive to the firm. Greenspan said in a statement that that MySpace blocks Stickam.com and vidiLife.com, two sites launched by Greenspan last year. A judge dismissed a prior suit by Greenspan in October, where Greenspan claimed that the $580M deal to sell Intermix Media to News Corp. defrauded shareholders of the firm.
