Greenspan Launches Chinese Investment Firm

Brad Greenspan, former founder, CEO, and Chairman of eUniverse (which became Intermix Media), has launched a new firm to invest in Chinese technology companies. Greenspan said today that he has launched and provided initial funding for BroadWebAsia, a new company that will invest in and partner with social networking, entertainment, and Internet search companies in Asia. Greenspan said that the company will allow him to implement his Internet strategy in China, and that BroadWebAsia has invested in BBMAO.com, a meta-search engine focused on China. BroadWebAsia is looking to raise up to $50M for other acquisition, investments, and transacations in China. Greenspan is best known for his disagreements with Intermix Media and its sale of MySpace.com.
