H2O Audio Adds $5M

San Diego-based H2O Audio, a provider of waterproof housings for Apple iPod and other media players, said today that it has closed a $5M Series C funding round. The funding came from Steelpoint Capital Partners. H2O Audio's waterproof products are used by action sports enthusiasts, including water skiers, divers, and surfers, and are distributed through retail outlets like CompUSA, Fry's Electronics, and Apple Stores.
