Ichor Medical Systems Gets $85M From Janssen Pharmaceuticals

San Diego-based Ichor Medical Systems, which is working on developing treatments for hepatitis B, said this morning that it will receive up to $85M in an upfront payment, R&D support, and development and sales milestones from Janssen Pharmaceuticals, a part of a product development collaboration and worldwide license agreement. The company said the deal, which was facilitated by Johnson & Johnson Innovation, the two will work together to develop and commercialize DNA-based vaccine products for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B.
