Illumina Buys GenoLogics

San Diego-based Illumina announced late Tuesday that it has acquired GenoLogics Life Sciences Software, a developer of laboratory information management systems. Illumina did not announced the financial details of the acquisition. GenoLogics becomes part of Illumina's Enterprise Informatics business. Illumina said that GenoLogics' software is currently used by over 120 genomic labs to manage lab samples.
