Inphi Rolls 40Gbps Component

Westlake Village-based Inphi Corp, a developer of high speed analog semiconductors, said today that it has rolled out a new, 40 Gbps component for the optical market. The firm said its 4336TA Transimpedence Amplifier (TIA) is aimed at customers designing, producing, and installing 40 Gbps serial components and equipment. The amplifier is used in Small Form Factor 40 Gbps Very Short Reach (VSR) transponder modules. Inphi is venture backed by Cadence Design Systems, Dali-Hook Partners, Flextronics, Mayfield, Tallwood Venture Capital, and Walden International.
