Iteris Signs Deal with Valent USA

Santa Ana-based transportation and agriculture information provider Iteris reported this week that it is in a deal with Valent U.S.A., to provide field-level weather, soil content, and crop protection via an API. According to Iteris, Valent is tapping into its ClearAg application programming interface, professional services, and more. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Valent provides products for agricultural crop protection and improviing crop yields, including herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and plant growth regulators.
