Ixia, Fortinet Tie On Terabit Firewall Testing

Calabasas-based network testing equipment and software deeloper Ixia, and firewall and cybersecurity appliance developer Fortinet said late Wednesday that Ixia is being a validation of terabit-speed firewalls from Fortinet. The two said that they used Ixia's CloudStorm and BreakingPoint testing products to test Fortinet's FortiGate 3980E and 7060E enterprise firewalls. The 3980E provides 1 terabit per second throughput.
