Kofax Selected By Mortgage Finance Firm CashCall

Irvine-based Kofax, which develops document capture and process automation software, said today that it has been selected by mortgage loan processing company CashCall. Kofax said that CashCall is using its mobile app to streamline and automate mortgage loan processing. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. Kofax explained the mortgage lending company is using mobile devices to capture mortgage documents required for applications, including paycheck stubs, W-2's, investment account statements, and tax returns. Kofax said its mobile apps include technology to help correct issues with poor camera angels, illumination, warping, and more, making sure that images taken with a mobile phone or tablet can be properly processed.
