Language Weaver Adds Farsi Support

Los Angeles-based automated translation software provider Language Weaver has added Farsi support to its translation tool. Language Weaver said that the bidirectional Farsi/English language pair module is now commercially available. Language Weaver already has an Arabic/English translation module available, and although Farsi (Persian) and Arabic share a common character set the languages are not directly transferable due to different usage and sentence structures. The new translation module is specifically targeted at the Farsi language. Language Weaver provides automated machine translation software, with bidirectional support for Chinese, French, Spanish, and Arabic, as well as unidirectional support for Somali and Hindi.
