Language Weaver Ties With Translation Software Firm

Los Angeles-based statistical machine language translation firm Language Weaver said Wednesday that it has tied into across Systems GmbH, a German provider of corporate translation management systems. Language Weaver said the two companies will provide a bundled software package that will support German/English translation of documents in the industrial manufacturing domain. Financial details of the bundle were not disclosed. Language Weaver's products will be used to help human translators translate help text, printed service manuals, and marketing materials to and from German and English. Language Weaver and across said they expect to have the product ready for general delivery in Q1 of 2008.
