MavenLink Lands $7M For Project Management Tools

Irvine-based Mavenlink, a developer of a software-as-a-service offering for project management and project accounting, has raised $7M in funding. The funding came from Carrick Capital Partners. According to Carrick Capital Partners, it co-founder and managing director, Jim Madden, as well as its CTO, Steve Unterberger, will both join Mavenlink's board as part of the funding. Mavenlink is led by Ray Grainger. Mavelink's software tools provide collaboration, file sharing, project tracking, budgeting, time tracking, invoicing and payments, and other features.
