MaxLinear Wins Chinese TV Manufacturer

Carlsbad-based radio frequency and mixed signal IC provider MaxLinear is reporting a design win with a Chinese television manufacturer this morning. MaxLinear said that Konka Group Co. Ltd., which manufactures color televisions, mobile phones, and other products, has selected its ML661 hybrid TV tuner IC into its latest LED/LCD televisions. Financial details and shipment volumes expected in the deal were not announced.
