MediaFLO In Wimbledon Coverage Deal

San Diego-based MediaFLO USA, the mobile video unit of Qualcomm, said Monday that it has signed a deal with ESPN and NBC Sports to provide comprehensive, live coverage of the Wimbledon championship tennis event. According to MediaFLO, the event will be available to AT&T subscribers, and will come through ESPN on ESPN Mobile TV and NBC Sports on NBC 2Go. MediaFLO's mobile broadcasting services feature television news and entertainment coverage from major networks, including CBS, FOX, NBC, CNBC, Comedy Central, MTV, and others; the service is a subscription add-on for certain AT&T mobile phones based on Qualcomm technology.
