Medsphere Names CTO

Carlsbad-based Medsphere, the developer of electronic health records systems, said today that it has named Lily S. Chang as its Chief Technology Officer. Chang was most recently CTO at Advent Software, where she had run the firm's technology operations for the past 19 years. Medsphere said Chang took Advent software from less than 100 employees to over 1000 today. Medsphere is venture backed by Azure Capital Partners, Epic Ventures, Thomas Weisel Venture Partners, and Western Technology Investment.
