MySpace Names Five VPs

Los Angeles-based social networking site MySpace announced today that the firm has appointed five new VPs at the firm. MySpace said that it has hired Manu Thapar as SVP of Engineering; Angela Courtin as SVP Marketing, Entertainment, and Content; Tish Whitcarft as SVP of Customer Care; Jason Oberfest as VP of Business Development; and Abe Thomas as VP of Online Marketing. Thapar was most recently VP Engineering at Yahoo; Courtin was most recently at MTV Networks; Whitcraft was at ooma; Oberfest from the Los Angeles Times inTeractive; and Thomas from eBay and PayPal.
