NTN Buzztime Buys Assets of iSports

Carlsbad-based NTN Buzztime, which develops interactive games for restaurants, sports bars and pubs, said Friday that it has acquired the assets of iSports, a provider of sports and entertainment content, sports scores, and news. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. iSports founders Nick Glassman and Kartik Ramachandran join NTN Buzztime as part of the deal. Glassman was previously at Transpera, Qualcomm MediaFLO, Packetvideo, and elsewhere; Ramachandran has been at MediaFLO, Bain & Company, Accenture, and Deutsche Bank Securities.
