NUVIZ Gets Funding For Heads-Up Display For Motorcycle Riders

San Diego-based NUVIZ, a developer of head's up displays for motorcycle riders, has scored a strategic investment round, the company said this morning. The funding came from Pierer Industrie AG, the parent firm of KTM Industries, Husqvarna Motorcycles, WP Suspension and Pankl Racing Systems. Size of the investment was not anounced, however, NUVIZ said it has now raised a total of $9M in equity and debt for its efforts. NUVIZ said the funding will go towards product development, sales, and marketing, as it gears up to launch its technology in the first half of this year. The strategic investment also includes marketing, distribution and product integration with KTM and Husqvarna Motorcycles.
