NantWorks Details "Cancer Moonshot"

Culver City-based NantWorks, and founder Patrick Soon-Shiong, M.D., have detailed efforts on the company's Cancer MoonShot 2020 Program, to help make a huge step in the treatment of cancer. According to the company, it ran its first event to bring together the government, healthcare, biotech, scientific, and technology community to make major progress against cancer from January 15th to 17th in Santa Cruz. NantWorks said it is aiming to accelerate novel combination immunotherapies as the next-generation standard of care for cancer patients, using whole genomic and proteomic molecular diagnostic analysis to help guide treatment of cancer. NantWorks says it hopes to have solutions in Phase 3 trails by the year 2020.
