National Technical Systems Buys Business From Wyle Laboratories

Calabasas-based National Technical Systems, which is a provider of environmental and other testing and related services to manufacturers, said it has acquired the testing business of Wyle Laboratories. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. NTS said the buy gives its three testing laboratories, located in Huntsville, Alabama, El Segundo, California, and San Bernardino, California. Those facilities are used for testing in the environmental, dynamics, structural, EMI/EMC, fluid flow, and acoustics areas. NTS is owned by private equity firm Aurora Capital Group.
