Nexicore Services Sold To Avnet

Simi Valley-based <>Nexicore, a provider of consumer electronics and conmputer repair and installation services, said Monday that it has agreed to sell substantially all of its assets, andits parent company, Hardcord Computer Group Inc., to Avnet. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, however, Nexicore said the sale came out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Nexicore provides depot repair, onsite repair and installation, and parts distribution of consumer electronics products. Nexicore said its approximately 500 employees will be offered positoins within Avnet's Integrated Resources business. Nexicore was advised by Paragon Capital Partners, LLC and law firm Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP in the deal.
