Ogilvy, SEMDirector In Alliance

San Diego-based search engine marketing software firm SEMDirector and marketing firm Ogilvy said today that Neo@Ogilvy, The Ogilvy Group's digital and direct media firm, and SEMDirector are in a global alliance. The firm said that Neo@Ogilvy will leverage SEMDirector's technologies as part of its client search programs. SEMDirector develops search engine marketing software which automates the optimization of web sites for search engines. The firms said that they have already partnered with clients such as IBM on search advertising efforts. Financial terms of the alliance were not disclosed. The Ogilvy group is a subsidary of WPP, a major advertising and marketing firm which counts American Express, BP, DuPont, Ford and other Fortune Global 500 firms as customers.
