Path 1 Appoints New VP

San Diego-based Path 1 Network Technologies has named a new VP of Marketing. The firm said that Richard Segil has joined the company as VP of Marketing, and will lead the firm's brand management, market strategy, advertising, public relations, and corporate communications. Segil was most recently a consultant for Solectron, Instromedix and Ethertronics, and has also served as Director, Product Operations, for Gateway. Segil also served as President and COO of IP3 Networks. Path 1 Network Technologies is developing video gateway products for broadcasting movies through IP networks.
