ReachLocal Expands Into Canada

Woodland Hills-based ReachLocal announced Wednesday that the firm has expanded into Canada, and opened up a new sales office in Toronto for its online marketing services. The venture-backed firm, which helps small and medium sized businesses place Internet advertising, said that its first Canadian location will cater to local businesses in the Greater Toronto area. The new office will be headed by Alyn Glazerman. ReachLocal helps businesses place pay-per-click and other ads through Google, Yahoo, MSN, and others. The firm is backed by more than $67M in funding from VantagePoint Venture Partners, Rho Ventures and Galleon Crossover Fund.
