ReachLocal Raises $7.75M

Encino-based ReachLocal, a local search marketing and advertising firm, said this morning that it has received $7.75M in a venture round led by VantagePoint Venture Partners. VantagePoint is an existing investor in the company. The company said that the funding will go towards supporting the company's Internet marketing platform. The company's services allows local businesses market and advertise themselves online, and combines the efforts of local sales agents with tools for managing advertising campaigns. The company places ades with Google, Overture, Yahoo, and other advertising networks on behalf of local firms. More information »
